Maybe someone else will have a better answer for you but please let us know how this turns out. I sure hope this helps you as I know how frustrating this can be. If you call tech support you might want to ask them for the right buttons to reset your printer and have them refer to my case (sorry I don't have the case number any longer). You may have to try different buttons to hold down on your model and hopefully one of them will work to reset the printer. I called tech support and had them record what I had done to fix the problem in the notes for my case. If the device is defective, we will send you new device for replacement from our local warehouse. After that, everything worked fine again. This seemed to reset the printer as it went through the initialization process and the driver installation as if it was right out of the box. Run the downloaded file and follow the prompts and turn on or plug in the printer when prompted. Once downloaded, unplug or turn off the printer. We reinstalled the driver numerous times and everything looked OK including the Wireless Network Test Report you mention. Hello I have a custom built PC running the latest version of windows and cannot install my wireless HP officejet pro 8620 driver. They kept escalating my case to the next higher level of service tech and I was impressed with their knowledge and the things they had me try but nothing worked. Since the printer was still under warranty, I talked to HP 4 or 5 times over the next week and each time they would have me try various things that seemed like they should have worked but didn't. Then all of a sudden I started to get the error message that the network could not be found.
It was set up on my home wireless network and I had been using it without problems on all 3 of my computers (notebook, laptop and desktop). I had a similar problem recently with my HP Officejet 8100. I am running Windows 7 (圆4) Professional. I have printed the Wireless Network Test Report where everything shows "Pass". My printer HP89545B HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m is also shown but the description shows as "unavailable". When I display the Devices and Printers the default printer shows as "Microsoft XPS Document Writer. My printer is an HP Wireless printer that I have used for at least 2 years without any problems.
